Hawkers

The metro police are successfully enforcing the municipal by-laws regarding hawker trading in the Illovo Boulevard.

Road closures

The integrated transport policy is under discussion at Council at present. However, the road closure of Cradock Avenue at the intersection of Bompas Road remains in place. The intention of this road closure is to protect the residents in the area from Melvill Road becoming a main arterial road to Sandton.
